Android
tablets are more useful for productivity when typing up documents with a
physical keyboard. For this purpose, there are various models of
Bluetooth keyboards which are made compatible for many devices.
Want to turn your Samsung Galaxy Tab into a netbook? By attaching a keyboard, you can get a lot of the same functionality that you would from a netbook or laptop, with the added benefit of still being able to use your touchscreen. Connecting a keyboard is generally a simple affair, whether you're using Bluetooth or a USB connection.
Steps:-
1. Purchase a Bluetooth keyboard.
There
are plenty of Bluetooth keyboards both in the online and offline
markets. Look for one that's physically compatible with your Tab 2.
2. Insert your tablet into the keyboard housing.
Different
models of Bluetooth keyboards come with their own way of housing your
device. Make sure your device is snuggly in place before proceeding.
3. Turn on Bluetooth on your device.
In the Settings menu of your Tab 2, head to Bluetooth Connectivity. Tap to enable Bluetooth.
4. Enable Bluetooth on the keyboard.
The
keyboard should come with a power switch as well as a switch for
Bluetooth. Make sure to turn it on and that the indicator says that the
Bluetooth is online.
5. Connect the devices and enable the input method.
Scan
for the keyboard in the Bluetooth menu of your Tablet. Pair the devices
and make sure that the keyboard says “Paired” below its name.
- In the Settings menu, go to the Language and Input submenu. Tick the box beside the name of your keyboard.
6. Test the connectivity and keyboard functionality. Use a note-taking app to do this.
