How to fix msvcr80.dll is missing Error

More and more people are facing Msvcr80.dll is missing error in their PC running windows Operatin System. Basically this error is faced by Windows Users who runs itunes on their PC. In Recent times Many People are getting this Error in itunes and so I am writing this article to fix it. Not only Msvcr8.dll is missing error but Error 0x80070057 is also in demand now a days.

Users are experiencing this error in recent times in high quantity, if you are using itunes, bonjour or any other apple program then, even you may get this error while running these programs

This error maybe caused because of any of the following reasons :

•     Some virus or malware infection in your C drive
•     You might have accidently deleted msvcr80.dll file from you system
•     Your msvcr80.dll may got corrupt due to malfunctioning
•     Registry problems of your system

Simple steps to fix msvcr80.dll is missing Error :

Step 1) You will have to uninstall and reinstall all the apple softwares installed in your computer in this order :

1.     Uninstall iTunes
2.     Uninstall Apple software update
3.     Uninstall Apple mobile device support
4.     Uninstall Bonjour
5.     Uninstall Apple application support
6.     Uninstall iCloud

Uninstall all these above programs first if you have installed them already.

Removal of these softwares will not lead to any deletion of your songs or playlists in iTunes so don’t worry about that but if you want you can take a backup of these files before uninstalling process. These are usually located in My Music folder in windows.

Step 2) After uninstalling all of above listed programs, you can now Restart your computer. In case , any of above program was unable to get uninstalled properly and generated some error , you can remove it manually from your C drive/Program files/*Program name*

Step 3) Use any registry booster or registry cleaner to make your system’s registry clean before reinstalling the softwares so that no previous entries remain in registry.

Step 4) Now you are all set to Reinstall apple softwares. Download the latest version and install one by one.

Right click on downloaded file and select Run As Administrator, Now you may not see any error and you can now Enjoy Error free and latest version of Apple softwares.
