How to Add a Project in Aptana

Aptana is a text editor that will help any webmaster manage their projects easily and above all it is free! If you do not want to spend thousands other text editors, Aptana is your solution. Add different projects into Aptana.

Steps

1. Make sure that you have cloned the project directory into your sandbox.

2. Open Aptana and locate “Aptana web perspective” icon on the far right.

3. Locate your “sandbox” and locate the web directory you want to add.

4. Right click the web directory and choose “promote to project”.

5. Then to go back to PHP view, click “PHP perspective”.

• You should have your project listed on the left pane by now.
